Peer Tutoring creates an academic atmosphere which encourages communication and teamwork, while providing students an opportunity to learn and grow from one another. Peer tutors are often able to take complicated or confusing topics and explain them in a more clear and accessible manner. Students learn in many different ways and giving them a fresh perspective on class materials they are struggling with can sometimes bridge the gap between bewilderment and comprehension.
Expert and dedicated teachers with the knowledge of mathematics, knowledge of students, and knowledge of instructional practices.
The St. Thomas Mathematics Olympiad will help to improve confidence and academic performance, foster an interest in math and improve the mathematical skills of participants through team-based competitions, help students become more proficient in the subject, master concepts and comprehend tricky questions effortlessly.
