Marking its 10th year, the Foundation reflects on a decade of accomplishments and impact, honoring distinguished St. Thomian luminaries whose contributions in finance, technology, healthcare, politics, and other industries have influenced the parish, the nation, and globally.

The St. Thomas Renaissance Foundation, Inc. is an apolitical and areligious 501(c)3 nonprofit organization domiciled in New York and committed to economic development in the Parish of St. Thomas, Jamaica.

Our Mission

The Foundation’s mission is to help stimulate economic development in the Parish of St. Thomas, Jamaica through a set of initiatives.

Education

Improvements in the educational outcomes of students at all levels, and improvements in the infrastructure of the schools.

Healthcare

Improvements in the healthcare delivery and healthcare facilities for better patient care, wellness, and economic development.

Business + Tourism

Leveraging and maximizing St. Thomas' human resources to develop and attract businesses and major investments.
Expand the tourism product by preserving and promoting the parish's rich cultural heritage

Community

Developing the social infrastructure by working with community-based organizations, nonprofits, and other entities and agencies, to provide facilities for young people, and improve security.

Sustainable Development

The Foundation subscribes to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in general, but to Goals 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, and 17 in particular.

Renaissance Foundation Endowment

The Foundation’s endowment is a dedicated and permanent source of funding that will ensure the longevity of the organization for decades to come and serve the needs of future generations of St. Thomians. It provides an opportunity for those who would like their philanthropic contributions to have an impact beyond today.
